• Podcast Mike Richman, Locked On Blazers · Report · Oct 14

Portland changed its starting lineup against Sacramento: Scoot Henderson started in the backcourt with Damian Lillard, so Morant (heard as "Ja Morant") and Holiday (heard as "Drew Holiday"; likely Jrue Holiday) were the two guards off the bench.

• Podcast Mike Richman, Locked On Blazers · Analysis · Oct 14

Host says Lillard is opportunistic on a team that plays fast. He trails in transition for threes when Morant, Avdija or even Camara (heard as "Tumani Kamara"; likely Toumani Camara) pushes the ball.

• Podcast Mike Richman (reported), via Locked On Blazers · Relayed report · Oct 13

Against the Kings, Dame (likely Damian Lillard) will 'start probably' with Scoot Henderson. Ja Morant and Holiday (heard as 'Drew Holiday'; likely Jrue Holiday) would come off the bench as Micah Nori keeps experimenting.

• Podcast Mike Richman, Locked On Blazers · Report · Oct 13

The host says Morant has been active on defense this preseason, chasing steals and playing with energy and purpose. He got a steal against the Lions, but Clingan (heard as 'Klingin'; likely Donovan Clingan) immediately turned the ball over.

• Podcast Mike Richman, Locked On Blazers · Opinion · Oct 13

The host does not think Morant becoming a frequent stealer would be a floor-raising skill that drastically changes outcomes.

• Podcast Locked On Blazers host · Prediction · Oct 12

Host prediction: Ja Morant and Damian Lillard will play a lot together and will probably start, at least for the first five or six games.

• Podcast Locked On Blazers host · Prediction · Oct 12

Host prediction: the Blazers will start the same five they started in preseason, at least to begin the season: Ja Morant, Lillard (heard "Damian Lord"), Camara (heard "Tumani Kamara"; likely Toumani Camara), Avdija (heard "Denny Avdia"; likely Deni Avdija), and Clingan (heard "Donovan Klingin"; likely Donovan Clingan).

• Podcast Locked On Blazers host · Report · Oct 12

In preseason game one, the first subs at the under-seven timeout were Holiday (heard "Drew Holiday"; likely Jrue Holiday) and Cissoko (heard "Sidisoko"/"City Sissoko"; likely Sidy Cissoko). The resulting lineup was Ja Morant, Holiday, Camara, Cissoko and Clingan.

• Podcast Locked On Blazers host · Report · Oct 12

Play from preseason game one: Avdija got a hit-ahead and swung the ball to Clingan (heard "Donovan Klingen") at the top of the key. That flowed into Chicago action: Camara (heard "Tumani") set a corner pin-down for Morant, who took the handoff and got downhill to the rim.

• Podcast Locked On Blazers host · Opinion · Oct 12

Host opinion: he liked the early pairing of Ja Morant and Rob Williams (likely Robert Williams III). He calls Williams a good rim roller and a much better offensive player than Clingan right now.

• Podcast Locked On Blazers host · Opinion · Oct 12

Host opinion: he didn't like the Morant–Cissoko (heard "City Soko"; likely Sidy Cissoko) minutes. He calls Cissoko a bad offensive player and a non-shooter, and says pairing Ja with Cissoko and Clingan ("D.C.") looks like a clogged-paint problem.
