+/- · Plus-minus #
The score difference while he was on the floor: +6 means his team outscored the opponent by 6 points in his minutes.
FG · Field goals #
Made-attempted shots of any kind except free throws, e.g. 9-18. FGA is attempts, FGM makes.

FT% · Free throw percentage #
Free throws made divided by free throws attempted. FT% leaders →
TS% · True shooting percentage #
Scoring efficiency that credits threes and free throws: points divided by twice the shooting chances, where a shooting chance is a field-goal attempt plus 44% of a free-throw attempt (a trip to the line is usually two free throws, so each counts as a little under half a chance). TS% leaders →
PRA · Points + rebounds + assists #
The three added together, a common combined line.
Per 36 min #
His production scaled to 36 minutes, to compare players with different playing time.

Games and form

GP · Games played #
Games he (or the team) played. On a team roster, games in the window named under the table.
GS · Games started #
Games he started. A ● beside a name marks a likely starter.
Average, last 5, last 10 #
His per-game numbers in games he played this season only. Before his first game the page says when they appear; last season never feeds this season's numbers.
L5 · Last 5 #
The average over the last 5 games he played (or the team played).
L10 · Last 10 #
The average over the last 10 games played. In the standings, L10 is the record over the team's last 10 games.
Exp · Experience #
Seasons in the NBA before this one. R means rookie.
B2B · Back-to-back #
A game the day after another game. The second night is usually the tired one.
Few games #
Fewer than 10 games behind a number. Early-season numbers swing a lot; the page says so.
Qualified (leaderboards) #
Our rule, NBA-style, scaled to the games played so far: per-game leaders need games in at least 70% of their team's games (58 of 82 over a full season); FG% and TS% need 300 made field goals per 82 team games, 3P% 82 made threes, FT% 125 made free throws. Players under the minimum are listed apart, not ranked. Tied values share a rank. All leaders →
This season only #
Stat cards and leaderboards use this regular season only and never fill in with last season.

Team stats

PPG · Points per game #
Points the team scores per game. Team points leaders →
Points allowed #
Points the team allows per game. Fewer is better. Fewest points allowed →
Possession #
One team's turn with the ball, ending in a shot that scores or is rebounded by the defence, a turnover or free throws.
Pace #
Possessions per 48 minutes. A fast team plays more possessions, so more points for both sides. Overtime does not inflate it. Pace leaders →
ORtg · Offensive rating #
Points scored per 100 possessions: scoring with pace taken out. Offensive rating leaders →
DRtg · Defensive rating #
Points allowed per 100 possessions. Lower is better. Defensive rating leaders →
Net rating #
Offensive rating minus defensive rating: how many points per 100 possessions the team outscores opponents by. Net rating leaders →

Standings

W-L · Record #
Wins and losses in this regular season. Standings →
PCT · Win percentage #
Wins divided by games played, written like .750.
GB · Games behind #
How far a team trails the leader: half the difference in wins plus half the difference in losses. The leader shows —.
Strk · Streak #
The current run of wins (W3) or losses (L2).
Home / Road #
The record in home games and in road games.
Conf / Div #
The record against teams in the same conference or division.
Diff · Point differential #
Points scored minus points allowed, per game.
Seed, playoff line and play-in #
Seeds 1-6 in each conference go straight to the playoffs; 7-10 meet in the play-in.
Tiebreak #
Teams level on record are ordered by head-to-head, then conference record, then point differential. A simplified rule, not the NBA's full procedure.
NBA Cup games #
Cup group games, quarterfinals and semifinals count in the standings and stats, as the league counts them; the Cup final does not.

Lines and odds

Line and quote age #
Lines are the sportsbook's current numbers with the book and when we last saw them. A line with an age or "no longer offered" may have moved.
Spread #
The sportsbook's points handicap between two teams: a team at −5.5 pts is favoured by 5.5 points.
Total #
The sportsbook's line on both teams' points added together.
Moneyline #
The sportsbook's price on a team winning the game outright, in American style: a minus sign marks the favourite, a plus sign the underdog.
Win chance from sportsbook odds (de-vigged) #
The moneyline turned into a probability with the bookmaker's margin (the vig) removed, so both sides add up to 100%. It is the market's view, not ours.
Hit rate / over rate #
Share of his games he finished over the line shown. A game landing exactly on a whole-number line is a push: it counts as neither over nor under and is listed separately.

Our labels

Split #
His average in games with one condition (a teammate out, a back-to-back) versus all his other games. A fact about past games, not a prediction. Situations often overlap (road games and back-to-backs share nights), so several agreeing splits are not separate confirmations. Screener →
Strength words #
"Big gap, solid sample" (15+ games), "clear gap" (10+), "could be noise", "only a few games" (5-9) and "tiny sample" (under 5) describe how much past evidence there is, not how likely it is to repeat.
Usually and Shift (Screener) #
Usually is his average in his latest season with enough games; Shift is how far his average moves in a situation, compared within the same season. Screener →
Likely five / Official lineup #
Likely five is the starting five from the team's latest box score; it becomes Official lineup once the team announces it.
Injury statuses #
The official report's words: Out, Doubtful, Questionable, Probable, and Game-time or Day-to-day from team updates. "Not listed" means he is not on the report.
EXPERIMENTAL #
A number from our models that is still being tested. It always shows its live lab record beside it. It appears only with Prediction tools on. How we test →

How our own numbers are tested is on Where these numbers come from. Model formulas and settings are not published.
