In Boston's 107-103 win over New York, Mitchell Robinson was in foul trouble. Neemias Queta played great in his minutes.

    • Robinson picked up two early fouls. Neemias Queta stepped in and played generally pretty well. at 14:12
    • Neemias Queta got under the Knicks' skin. Andre Drummond pushed him and was called for a technical, and Josh Hart committed a frustration foul. at 14:29
    • Neemias Queta played 22 minutes, by the host's count. The host calls him malleable and says he can give 30 minutes if needed. at 15:03
    • The host's view: start Robinson and bring Neemias Queta off the bench. He doesn't think Robinson can yet be counted on for a set number of minutes off the bench, while Queta can fill the gaps. at 15:25
    • After the first quarter, the host observed Joe Mazzulla splitting the center minutes in roughly six-minute stints between Robinson and Neemias Queta. The host thought it worked fine. at 16:38
    • With about a minute and a half left in the third and the Celtics up four, Jayson Tatum drove and kicked to Neemias Queta in the left corner. Queta hit the corner three, putting Boston up seven. at 17:45
    • Jayson Tatum (quoted): After the game the host asked about the kick-out. The response he relays, apparently from Jayson Tatum, was "I realize who it was like a half second too late." The host then adds that he (seemingly Queta) has been working on that shot. It is unclear whether that last part is Tatum's words or the host's. at 18:07
    • The host says he isn't saying he wants Neemias Queta spotting up in the corner, though the shot was fun to see. at 18:56
    • Luka Garza checked in for Neemias Queta with 2:03 left in the first quarter and the Celtics down 25-23. He hit a three to put Boston ahead. at 22:24
    • The host argues that with Neemias Queta and Robinson in foul trouble, Garza's stretch let both sit and avoid third fouls. He sees it as the stretch where the Celtics 'didn't lose the game.' at 23:30

I'm going to keep bringing this up for a bit: Neemias Queta should start with Mitchell Robinson coming off the bench. Queta earned that starting spot last year. Robinson has been awesome off the bench. Feels like both guys would be better in those roles.

    • The host recalls the second-quarter double-big group with uncertainty: Robinson ('Mitch') and Neemias Queta, plus 'I think' Baylor Scheierman, Sam Hauser, and Derrick White 'I think', or maybe Pritchard. He then corrects himself to say it was Hauser, describing three perimeter players with two bigs. at 3:50
    • Neemias Queta put up four three-point attempts, three of which counted officially. He made one from the corner with his toe on the line; the host does not make clear whether that one counted as a three. at 6:23
    • Neemias Queta attacked off the dribble. In the second quarter he drove from the left wing with a spin move and drew a foul for free throws. In the fourth quarter he faked a handoff, drove left, and dunked down the middle of the lane. at 6:54
    • Host opinion: this 'might be' the best he has seen Neemias Queta play. He says Queta looks very fluid. at 7:18
    • Host analysis: the flailing quality in Neemias Queta's movements, including on dunks last year, now seems gone and under control. at 7:57
    • Host opinion: if Robinson's conditioning is like this, he'd rather give Robinson a structured 20 minutes starting games and use Neemias Queta as a reserve who can finish games, saying Queta is in better shape. Without Robinson's minutes, the host says they'd otherwise have to go to Garza. at 9:41
    • Payton Pritchard hit Neemias Queta with an interior pass on the left block for a layup. Host analysis: Queta has developed the ability to relocate along the baseline off Pritchard's drives. at 15:50
